Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

This book is like waffles covered with melted chocolate and strawberries and a scoop of ice cream on the side.

I ADORED this book and it is the perfect contemporary romance.

Steph's writing is beautiful and I couldn't stop reading.
The story itself was cute, really well paced and so fun to read!

CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT ETIENNE ST CLAIR?!

Reasons to love St. Clair:

*funny
*cute
*hot
*American with a British accent and a French name
*those hands
*that smile
*those huge brown eyes
&infinite more reasons

I really liked Anna as the narrator and protagonist of the story and I also loved the other characters: Josh, Mer and Rash.

It is also set in Paris, where I went last week, and being able to relate to the references just made the experience even more magical.

This story captures love at its finest
